SECOND OF THREE ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

The George County Sheriff’s Department has arrested the second of three (3) suspects wanted for armed robbery. Twenty-two (22) year old Carlos Dewun Spivery, of Lucedale, turned himself in to the sheriff’s department on the morning of June 24, 2011. He was being sought in connection with a home invasion style armed robbery in the Shipman Community of George County on Monday, June 20, 2011. The third and only suspect not in custody is twenty-six (26) year old Dominic Pate, of Boston, MA. Spivery was transported to the George County Regional Correctional Facility and charged with armed robbery. Later that same evening, he had a bond hearing before a George County Justice Court Judge, in which his bond was set at $100,000.00.
