COMMERCIAL BURGLARY SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY
TWO ARRESTED FOR RECEVING STOLEN PROPERTY
ONE PENDING ARREST IN MONROE COUNTY, MS
January 8, 2018
The George County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Burglary that occurred on December 23, 2017, at the George County Maintenance Building located in the Evanston Community. Assisting in this investigation are the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Stone County Sheriff’s Office, and the Nettleton Police Department. Two suspects, Steven Franklin Camp (38) and Jerremy Dean Latimer (33), have been arrested for Commercial Burglary in connection with this crime. Also arrested in connection to the Burglary are Jason Sargent and Dustin Pickle of Amory, MS, for Receiving Stolen Property. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for Michael Hill; Hill is wanted for Receiving Stolen Property in connection with this case. During the course of a search in both Stone and Monroe Counties, Investigators located much of the stolen property, including a utility trailer and many power tools. Latimer is currently in the custody of the George County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting his initial appearance. Sargent, Camp, and Pickle, are all being held at the Monroe County Detention Center. The George County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Nettleton Police Department, and Stone County Sheriff’s Office, for their help in investigating this case.
