Missing Person Found

The George County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 9:36 a.m. regarding a possible missing person in the Dogwood Estates area. Mary Evelyn Hall was reported missing and was last seen at 130 Redwood Lane in George County. Her vehicle was recovered unoccupied on Sherwood Drive by law enforcement, and was sitting partially on the road with keys in it. After an extensive search by George County Sheriff’s Office, George County K9 Officer, and George County Search and Rescue, Mrs. Hall was found close to Sherwood Drive and was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment and evaluation. Sheriff Keith Havard would like to thank Jackson County Search and Rescue, as well as ASAP Medical for assisting.
